Hyundai have been selling electric cars almost as long as anyone, with the Ioniq being around for years. The Kona brings things to a new level. Serious reviewers have reviewed the Kona asking "Why would you need a Tesla if  you can have this?" Well, a Tesla still feels more premium but the Kona brings style and range, and it's a heck of a lot cheaper than any Tesla.

As compact SUVs go, the Kona is right up there. None of them have room for a squad of rugby players in the back but teens or normal adults will be comfortable for any journey, despite the decent range.

Again, we might just quote Top Gear's review..."One of the best all-round, reasonably priced EVs you can buy today"
