Nissan's Leaf has been around for so long that some people think it couldn't possibly still be a class-leading car. Wrong. The new model's look is bold, angular, and contemporary and more confident about the car's capabilities. Nissan will hate us for saying it, but the Leaf is Golf-like in its universal applicability.

It's not only the perfect electric car for almost anyone, it's the perfect car for almost anyone. If there's a better balance of price, range, room, reliability and "easy to live with" on the market we don't know what it is. There are cars that are more stylish and that have longer range and lower prices...but the Leaf find a great balance right in the middle. Room for a family but good around town. Good in the city but still great on the highway. They sell by the boatload because they're great cars.
