Peugeot is another brand where build quality has benefited greatly from the merger of PSA and GM Europe. The 2008 leaps right in to a leading place in the compact SUV battle. It's got more space than most, and while it's not Honda-pretty, it's a good looking car.
One other notable feature is that the 2008 is quiet at speed, even for an electric car and particularly for its class. Taller SUV shapes push more air, but the 2008 is pretty hushed.
