Go Eve produces DockChain:

The rapid charging system for fleet operators and car park owners

End the constraint of rapid DC chargers serving only two parking spaces. DockChain is a scalable system extending fast chargers to serve every parking bay.

The DockChain charging innovation

DockChain is a patented technology for charging electric vehicles at scale, originally invented by the team at University College Dublin and Imperial College London.

DockChain makes rapid DC charging possible for all parking spaces at little more than the cost of slow AC charging at scale.
Charge any car or van quickly when you need it.
Charge all your vehicles more cheaply.

Transform your EV fleet operations or visitor charging experience.

Imagine a world where you don’t have to think about which parking space has charging.

Because they all do.

That's DockChain

DockChain is a 'chargepoint multiplier'. The innovation allows multiple parking spaces to be ‘electrified’ from one base power source with a daisy chain of inexpensive and simple charging points. Combined with a standard high power DC Charger, our technology significantly reduces the cost involved with charging large numbers of EVs. Plus you can charge any car at high power in any space without moving vehicles around chargers. Rapid vehicle turnaround whenever you need it.

DockChain makes rapid DC charging possible for all parking spaces at little more than the cost of slow AC charging infrastructure today, opening a whole number of use-cases where volumes of electric vehicles are parked, including:

Rapid DC charging

Every vehicle is plugged in.

Now any specific car can be charged in minutes rather than hours on slow AC charging. A game-changer for drivers and operations teams.

We're already working with customers in specific industries around the world. Our initial production units have been assembled by manufacturing partners and have been deployed in Europe at the end of 2023. The first installs in the US will happen in the first half of 2024.

Future DockChain - V2G becomes possible at scale:

Using DC electricity, the DockChain system gives great flexibility on when power can be bought from the grid. We're also developing the system to allow it to feed power back to the grid, thereby making better use of fleet assets, generating new revenue, and supporting grid stability.

V2G parameters can be set in the system based on the application, e.g:

- Only discharge a maximum of 20% charge from each vehicle

- Only discharge the highest capacity battery vehicles first

- Only discharge specific vehicles

- Allow drivers full control
